InviroSNAP!® Safety Influenza Vaccine Syringes

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recently released a recommendation urging all healthcare providers, as well as those in training for healthcare professions, to obtain the influenza vaccine annually. Shortly after the recommendation was announced, Inviro Medical introduced InviroSNAP!® Safety Syringe Flu Trays, designed specifically for institutions and companies that administer flu shots in bulk, such as long-term care facilities, health departments, and physician offices.

Inviro Medical’s Flu Trays enable easy influenza vaccine administration and are designed for convenient access. Each sealed tray includes 25 unwrapped sterile syringes, rather than 25 individually packaged, unopened syringes, reducing waste and increasing labor efficiency in the administration of influenza treatment. The trays are designed to save both clinicians and patients’ valuable time during the administration of flu shots.

Administer Flu Shots Quickly and Safely

In addition to the InviroSNAP! Safety Syringe Flu Trays which contain 25 – 3ml 25g x 1” safety syringes available in case quantities with 40 trays in a case, Inviro Medical also offers a number of other flu syringes available in 1 ml 25g x 1”; 1ml 25g x 5/8”; 3ml 25g x 1”; and 3ml 25g x 5/8” sizes.

These syringes bridge the gap between bulky retro-fitted designs and more expensive automatic retractables. They function like a traditional syringe and are easy to use while administering flu shots, but the devices are engineered with a safety feature integral to the design. After using standard technique to administer a medication dose, the clinician pulls the plunger back, causing the needle to retract inside the barrel. The plunger is then snapped off, permanently disabling the device. Learn more about using InviroSNAP! Safety Syringes to administer the influenza vaccine.
